A classic San Francisco English Tudor home is transformed at the main level from a series of small discreet rooms to a single unified space which accommodates the many functions of an active family. The spaces required - dining, family, kitchen - are provided for in semi-discreet areas, which can be further delineated by a series of pocketing sliding glass panels. Design elements operate on many levels - door lite division, fireplace mantle, heat riser column - and continue outside the house into the landscape with cannon skylight, garden gate and fence.
