A new Embassy for the Republic of South Korea was to be constructed in the diplomatic section of Beijing, China. A five-acre parcel was to act as a park-like setting for a series of buildings which would house the administrative /
functional as well as formal spaces and offices, along with dormitory facilities for embassy personnel. The building was to be open
and welcoming while maintaining a sense of security; it was also required to evoke a sense of Developed World status
on the part of its occupant. This project was done in association with POS-A.C. and DuNam Choi, Architects.
